Eco Cost Cleaning Solution is a system fitted to IPC scrubber dryers that reduces water and detergent consumption. There are three elements in the system – Microscrub, Chem Dose and Energy Saver. The microfiber pads used by ECS are said to last longer than conventional brushes or abrasive pads – they can be washed up to 250 times and last between four and six months. They work at 600 rpm instead of 200 rpm, producing a glassy effect while saving water by 80 per cent. More than 90 per cent of detergent can be saved thanks to Chem Dose, says IPC, which also maintains the machine water circuits.
